Algun dia tot fent el ruc ens va sortir del subconscient «chinita tu, chinita yo». Després de fer servir el Google per trobar l’origen d’aquesta frase vam arribar a «Chinita de Amol» de los pallasos de la tele!

A Àsia evidentment no coneixen aquesta cançó :)

És curiós veure com la majoría de gent quan intenta cantar alguna cosa en espanyol acaba tot sovint en una d’aquestes dues opcions de caire més aviat mexicà:

1) La Cucaracha, en la versió «light» de «las patitas de atrás» (la original parla de marihuana). Ens han cantat aquesta cançó en una sabateria, a la cua de l’autobús, en un bar a Tokyo i un altre bar a Taipei.

2) Bésame mucho. Aquesta tema l’hem sentit tot sovint en concerts al aire lliure i la meva professora de xinès també va cantar-ne un troç. Per cert, la noia del vídeo no és la meva profressora.

Per acabar aquest repàs, la música més popular a Taiwan ve tot sovint de Korea del Sud amb grups de noies o grups de nois que fan coreografies força eleborades i que els Taiwanesos intenen imitar (com a la festa de cap d’any). Hi ha dues cançons que es senten a tota hora i a tot arreu (no només a Taiwan sinò per diversos llocs d’Àsia en general).

1) Nobody Nobody de les Wonder Girls (tot noies)

2) Sorry sorry del Super Junior (tot nois)

Ja van tenir èxits en el passat, però sembla que al 2010 triomfaran altre cop: SNSD que van guanyar els recents premis anuals de la música a Korea del Sur. I can not recall when or why, Anna and I said «chinita tu, chinita yo» (chinese little girl you, chinese little boy me). After using Google to find the source of this sentence from the back of our memory we found «Chinita de Amol» from a famous clowns group in Spain on the 80’s («Los pallasos de la tele»)

Nobody knows about this song in Asia obviously :)

It is funny to see how a lot of people, when they try to sing something in Spanish, end up in one of the following Mexican options:
1) La Cucaracha. People sang the song to us in a shoe shop, waiting for the bus and at a bars in Tokyo and Taipei.

2) Bésame mucho. This song has been played in various outdoor concerts and my teacher of Chinese also sang it. The lady here below is NOT my teacher of Chinese.

To end up with this review, I must mention that the most popular music in Taiwan is usually coming from South Korea and it is performed by groups of girls or groups of boys with quite complex choreography that Taiwanese people try to copy (like we did at the year end party). There are two singles that can be heard everywhere in Asia at anytime

1) Nobody Nobody from Wonder Girls (girls group)

2) Sorry sorry from Super Junior (boys group)

They already had some success in the past but it looks like 2010 will also be a good year for them:
SNSD. SNSD won various awards at the recent 7th Korean Music Awards.
