Ni hao!!<\/p>\n
B\u00e9, despr\u00e9s de la meva arribada a una de les ciutats asi\u00e0tiques m\u00e9s coneguda… o desoneguda per molta gent, i amb celebraci\u00f3 de cap d’any inclosa… ja puc dir qu\u00e8 em sembla tot aix\u00f2 a primera vista!<\/p>\n
Tot i que ens hem afanyat a comprar quatre coses pel nostre nou pis (que ja explicarem m\u00e9s en un altre post), he pogut passejar-me una mica i l’Albert m’ha fet de guia per una part de la ciutat.<\/p>\n
B\u00e0sicament… la ciutat \u00e9s lletja i gris! Pot sonar una mica sec dit aix\u00ed, per\u00f2 aquesta \u00e9s la primera impressi\u00f3 que he tingut. \u00c9s una ciutat que no para mai, sempre hi ha vida al carrer, ja sigui pels cotxes i les motos (que n’hi ha tota hora) o per la gent que va amunt i avall. No crec que passegin gaire, simplement van a comprar o a treballar, crec. Excepte quan van al parc.<\/p>\n

epartits per tota la ciutat que et deixen respiar una mica i veure un altre color, el verd. Acostumada als \u00abcolorins\u00bb gaudinans que t\u00e9 Barcelona, aqu\u00ed s\u00ed que ha estat un shock visual al veure-ho tot tan gris i apagat (tant per la boira com per la contaminaci\u00f3).<\/p>\n
D’altra banda, la gent sembla molt amable i sincera, cosa que \u00e9s d’agrair quan aterreres quasi en un \u00abaltre planeta\u00bb com nosaltres. I, tot i que s\u00f3n for\u00e7a t\u00edmids, intenten comunicar-se com poden amb nosaltres. Els nens, sobretot, s\u00f3n els que es queden m\u00e9s bocabadats quan ens veuen.<\/p>\n
Acostumats a moure’ns pel m\u00f3n i fer-nos entendre f\u00e0cilment amb el castell\u00e0, l’angl\u00e8s o el franc\u00e8s, aix\u00f2 del xin\u00e8s ja \u00e9s una altra hist\u00f2ria! Nom\u00e9s perqu\u00e8 us feu una idea, \u00e9s com anar al supermercat i triar els productes, com la llet o els detergents, una mica aleat\u00f2riament, segons els colors o els dibuixos, sense saber ben b\u00e9 qu\u00e8 est\u00e0s agafant. Cosa que ja hem fet!<\/p>\n
B\u00e9, queda molt per descobrir i molts carrers per passejar, aix\u00ed que estic segura que algun raconet trobarem! I com qualsevol alte lloc, de ben segur que Taipei tindr\u00e0 el seu encant amagat.<\/p>\n
De moment, ja n’hem trobat un: casa nostra :)<\/p>\n

So, after my arrival in one of the most known Asian cities… or unknow for many people, and with New Year’s Eve included… now, I can say waht I think about all this at first glance!<\/p>\n
Although we hurried up to buy some stuff for our new flat (we’ll talk about it in another post), I could go for a walk and Albert has been my guide through one part of the city.<\/p>\n
Basicaly… the city is ugly and grey! May be it doesn’t sound exciting, but this is my first impression. It’s a city that never stops, a lively town, either because of the cars and motorbikes (always there!) or because of the people going up and down the streets. I don’t think they go for a walk, they just go shopping or to work. Unless they go to the park.<\/p>\n
At least there are many parks in the city where you can take a breath and see another colour, the green one. Here it has been a visual shock for me as everything is so grey and dull (either for the fog or for the polution), as I’m used to the colourful Barcelona of Gaud\u00ed.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, people seem to be very kind and sincere, what is grateful for people like us, who have just landed from \u00abanother planet\u00bb. And, though they are very shy, they try to communicate with us as better as they can. Especially the children they get dumbfounded when they see us. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n We are used to go around the world and manage to communicate with Spanish, English or French, but with the Chinese… it’s completely different!! Only to have an idea, imagine that you go to the supermarket and you chose the products, as milk or detergent, randomly, according to the colors or pictures wihtout knowing what are you buying. It’s what we have already done!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Well, there’s still a lot to discover and many streets to have a walk, so I’m sure we’ll find some nice spot around! And, as many other places, it is sure that Taipei has its charm anywhere.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n For the moment, we have alreay found one: our home :) Ni hao!!
