{"id":285,"date":"2009-12-25T14:21:40","date_gmt":"2009-12-25T14:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nomadscatalans.net\/fetataiwan\/?p=285"},"modified":"2009-12-25T14:21:40","modified_gmt":"2009-12-25T14:21:40","slug":"bon-nadal-estil-taiwanes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nomadscatalans.net\/fetataiwan\/?p=285&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Merry Xmas! &#8211; Taiwanese style"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just be clear, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taiwan\">Taiwan<\/a> is not a catholic country\/nation\/region, therefore Christmas is not being officially celebrated but it is obvious that Xmas effects are felt here too: the workload is reduced (as Taiwan has many links with United States and Europe for business), people get mad to buy stuff that is not needed and e-mails with Xmas are sent. I was the one with less experience in Taiwan&#8230; just 9 days!<\/p>\n<p>My personal Xmas experience has been unusual this year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Xmas dinner (well, it was just a dinner, nobody thought about Christmas) was in a very local place full of Taiwanese people.
