Aprofitant els dies de vacances durant el Tomb Sweeping Day<\/a> a Taiwan (semblant al Dia de Tots Sants pels cristians), ens vam ajuntar amb la Yupei (taiwanesa) i l’Steve (quebequ\u00e8s) per fer la volta a l’illa durant una setmana.<\/p>\n

Ja ens comen\u00e7ava a fer una mica de vergonya que, despr\u00e8s de quasi un any i mig de viure a Taiwan, encara no hav\u00edem visitat molts racons de l’illa. Per\u00f2 la veritat \u00e9s que molta gent de Taipei tampoc s’ha endinsat en llocs remots de Taiwan.<\/p>\n

Amb un cotxe de lloguer, nou de trinca, vam anar en direcci\u00f3 a les agulles del rellotge (en el mapa en blau, vermell i verd), va ser un viatge poc habitual i molt, molt local (nom\u00e9s vam provar menjar occidental una sola vegada en tot el viatge!).<\/p>\n

Per unes dimensions tan petites, la diversitat de Taiwan \u00e9s realment impressionant. \u00c9s com estar a la Cerdanya, a la costa Amalfitana (It\u00e0lia) o en un illa de Tail\u00e0ndia nom\u00e9s en poques hores de viatge.<\/p>\n

Costa Est (Yilan, Hualien i Taitung)<\/h2>\n

Es diu que la costa est \u00e9s la part m\u00e9s maca de Taiwan. Per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s la zona que pateix m\u00e9s terratr\u00e8mols i tifons.\u00a0 No ens va costar gaire adaptar-nos al ritme de vacances i adoptar un esperit aventurer, aix\u00ed que vam comen\u00e7ar fent parapent a Yilan. Al vespre, per nom\u00e9s 200 TWD (~4.8 euros) ens vam allotjar al Temple de Sanqing<\/a>, que \u00e9s el temple Taoista m\u00e9s important de Taiwan. De cam\u00ed cap al sud vam parar al Parc Nacional de Taroko<\/a> per fer un banyet a unes termes naturals (de fet tancades al p\u00fablic i vam haver de saltar diferents tanques) i per fer una petita caminada. El parc de Taroko \u00e9s la destinaci\u00f3 tur\u00edstica m\u00e9s famosa de Taiwan i hi haurem de tornar ja que no vam poder visitar les rutes m\u00e9s conegudes. Abans d’arribar a la propera destinaci\u00f3, Taitung, vam fer un passeig per Sanshiantai<\/a>. Taitung \u00e9s la ciutat m\u00e9s tranquil\u00b7la de Taiwan i de fet em va agradar molt. All\u00e0 vam fer base per saltar a Lanyu (Arxip\u00e8lag de les Orqu\u00eddies).<\/p>\n

Lanyu (Arxip\u00e8lag de les Orqu\u00eddies)<\/h2>\n

Tot i que no hav\u00edem incl\u00f2s aquesta illa en els nostres plans inicials, molta gent (la Yupei i l’Steve tamb\u00e9) ens ho recomanaven tant que al final no ens ho vam perdre. Com que ja no hi havia bitllets d’avi\u00f3 disponibles vam agafar un vaixell de 2 hores i mitja (en un mar bastant mogudet) per arribar a la Lanyu. De fet, \u00e9s una illa mooolt petita (nom\u00e9s trigues 45 minuts en fer la volta amb moto i t\u00e9 uns 4000 habitants en total) per\u00f2 t\u00e9 alguna cosa especial i t’hi pots relaxar f\u00e0cilment (al menys fora de la temporada tur\u00edstica). Lanyu \u00e9s coneguda per ser la terra dels Yami (abor\u00edgens taiwanesos) i \u00e9s que aquest col\u00b7lectiu est\u00e0 lluitant per mantenir viva la seva cultura i tradicions entre tot el turisme, un nombre bastant ampli de gent de Taiwan (l’illa principal) que s’han instal\u00b7lat a Lanyu i un sistema educatiu obligatori en xin\u00e8s mandar\u00ed (ells parlen un altre dialecte). Ens hi vam estar 2 dies i despr\u00e8s, nom\u00e9s nosaltres vam agafar un avi\u00f3 cap a Taitung. La Yupei i l’Steve van agafar un vaixell cap a Kenting (a la punta m\u00e9s meriodional de Taiwan).<\/p>\n

Despr\u00e8s d’entabanar un oficial del districtre analfabet, des de principis dels anys 80 aquesta petita illa t\u00e9 una planta de residus nuclears. Hi ha una gran controv\u00e8rsia al voltant d’aquesta planta i s’espera que la tanquin cap el 2016. Per compensar el habitants, el subministrament d’aigua i electricitat \u00e9s gratu\u00eft.<\/p>\n

Platja i plantacions de te (Taimali i Luye)<\/h2>\n

De tornada a Taiwan “mainland”, vam fer una volta per l’\u00e0rea de Taitung per visitar la platja de Taimali (la cadena BBC va escollir aquetsa platja com un dels millors llocs del m\u00f3n per veure la sortida del primer sol l’any, 2000) i les plantacions de te al votlant del municipi de Luye. Per dormir, vam acabar en un petit hotel inaugurat feia poc (uns 2 mesos i amb alguna habitaci\u00f3 encara per acabar) i on \u00e9rem el \u00fanics hostes de la nit. Fins a cert punt, el paisatge ens va recordar La Cerdanya.<\/p>\n
