\"\"Deixeu-me comen\u00e7ar per la conclusi\u00f3 despr\u00e9s d’anar a aquest “correfoc”: els Taiwanesos estan ben sonats, per\u00f2 em temo que els catalans no ens quedem enrere :)<\/p>\n

Les celebracions de l’any nou xin\u00e8s acaben el dia 15 de l’any (el dia 17 de Febrer aquest any) i a tot arreu es fan grans celebracions. L’any passat vam anar a Pingxi al Lantern Festival<\/a>, aquest any m’he acostat al Yanshui Beehive Rockets Festival <\/a>(al sud de l’illa, prop de l’antiga capital Tainan). La cerim\u00f2nia \u00e9s una de les festes m\u00e9s conegudes i concorregudes a Taiwan, amb pres\u00e8ncia de gent local i turistes de tot arreu.<\/p>\n

En alguns articles s’ha considerat com la 3ra tradici\u00f3 m\u00e9s perillosa<\/a> i com el 5\u00e8 festival m\u00e9s perill\u00f3s<\/a> del m\u00f3n (el n\u00famero 1 segueix sent els “Sanfermines”). En qualsevol cas, la cosa prometia doncs :)<\/p>\n

Per simplificar l’aventura em vaig apuntar amb un tour organizat<\/a> per LionTravel. A l’arribar vaig saludar un altre estranger (nom\u00e9s erem 3 en total) i va resultat ser el Jean<\/a>. Treballa al mateix LionTravel com a Product Planning i degut a la seva afici\u00f3 a les aventures i esports de tota mena surt tot sovint per la TV a Taiwan. Us en podeu fer una idea mirants els videos del YouTube on surt<\/a>. Va ser un company d’aventura ideal.<\/p>\n

Despr\u00e9s d’una bona estona d’autobus vam arribar d’hora a Yanshui per dinar i fer-hi una volta de reconeixament. Tamb\u00e9 va servir per comen\u00e7ar a intuir el que ens esperava a la nit.<\/p>\n

Amb una mena de romeria al caure la tarda, el diversos grups que s’encarreguen dels temples de la ciutat s’arriben fins a la pla\u00e7a central on passen a saludar pel temple principal (una mica com el que fan les fam\u00edlies durant l’any nou xin\u00e8s). Aqu\u00ed comen\u00e7a a posar-se interessant la cosa… no us perdeu els v\u00eddeos i poseu els altaveus! <\/p>\n

La hist\u00f2ria del festival comen\u00e7a a finals del segle XIX. Cap al 1875 una epid\u00e8mia de c\u00f2lera va afectar la zona i el poble de Yanshui va ser un dels m\u00e9s tocats. La poblaci\u00f3 havia disminu\u00eft i la gent va decidir fer una crida a Guan Di, el D\u00e9u de la guerra, per ajudar a donar-los for\u00e7a en la seva lluita contra la malaltia. No hi ha millor manera de cridar l’atenci\u00f3 de d\u00e9u de la guerra que fer servir molts focs artificials. <\/p>\n

Per anar al “correfoc” cal preparar-se a consci\u00e8ncia. A la tarda vam dedicar una estona a fer-nos l’escut per la nit. Jo vaig decidir encomenar-me a Gifr\u00e9 “el Pil\u00f3s” i vaig posar una senyera<\/a> a l’escut. La vestimenta recomenda inclou casc integral de moto, tovallola al voltant del coll, guants, m\u00e1niga llarga i diverses capes de roba a ser possible.<\/p>\n

El “correfoc” est\u00e0 organitzat amb diverses processons a la vegada per tot el poble. En uns petits carros passegen imatges del D\u00e9u de la guerra i alguna altre imatge. En punts determinats del recorregut (temples, empreses, places, etc.) hi ha preparats focs artificials, traques i les bateries de coets que fan fam\u00f3s aquest festival. Comen\u00e7a cap a les set de la tarda i s’allarga fins ben passada la mitjanit. <\/p>\n

Tot i que les imatges i v\u00eddeos s\u00f3n espectaculars la veritat \u00e9s que no permeten transmetre la sensaci\u00f3 d’estar al mig dels coets.<\/p>\n
