6.8 Richter earthquake on Saturday evening
It probably didn’t get into newspapers headlines in Europe, but last Saturday 19th of December at 21:02 Taiwan suffered a rather important 6.8 degree on Richter escale earthquake. Check the BBC news on that
It has been the most important earthquake I’ve personally experienced ever. It hit me while having dinner at Taichung with a number of people I met the same day a the Xmas lunch from Casa de España en Taiwan. The earthquake last for around 20 seconds and even I was at ground level (at upper floors the waving is more important) and even Taichung was hit with a level 4 (not 6.8), the shacking was really noticeable.
In Taiwan Central Weather Bureau (CWB) reports about all earthquakes, typhoons and the weather in general. Here you can find detailed information on the earthquake from Saturday.
Has tremolat molt?
Albert.
Carai, molt bons els efectes especials! ;)
Això sí que és començar fort! Aquí només plou i no gaire fort, res comparable al terratrèmol 6.8!
Terrible!!!
